Little Chino 101 Round Knife
This is my take on a Chan Geer style and the first style of knife I made for myself when I ventured into leatherwork. A maneuverable push design made to fit full in the palm of your hand for the feeling of full control. A narrow taper in the handle close to the blade for indexing and my own pinky pocket handle design for extra support in your palm. Blade has a distal taper from hilt to leading edge to a con-vexed, near zero grind.
This model is made from 1084/15N20 high carbon, 100 layer Damascus steel, heat treated to 60 HRC. Full tang design, paired with a Bubinga wood handle, heirloom fitted with mosaic pin.
